yesyesno took the idea of shadow puppets in front of a night light and turned it into a full scale installation projected onto the side of the Auckland Ferry building. Going beyond a simple projection, ‘Night Lights’ turns viewers into performers, projecting their shadows and blowing them up five stories tall.

Vancouver’s first official Laneway house (courtesy of Lanefab Construction) had an open house this past weekend. Built on existing properties, these homes make use of unused or under utilized backyard space, opening up into the alleyway; the one above opens on to the alley behind McGill and Slocan Streets.
Laneway homes were approved by city council last July, and must be at least 33 feet wide...
